Former Shimba Hills secondary and Congo Boys Fc striker Ali Halafu is among the seven players unveiled by Bandari Football Club management to beef up the men and women teams during this mid transfer window.
According to Bandari Football Club CEO Tony Kibwana, 24 year old Halafu is among the mixed blend of youthful and experienced players whose the board is confident will the the team to great heights .
Also joining the team are experienced duo of former Internationals John Mark Makwata 29 ,and Dennis Ng’ang’a 29, who are returning to local football after stints abroad and Clifford Ouma 22, formerly of Nairobi City Starts .
The unveiling at KPA Mbaraki Sports Club which was also attended by Bandari FC vice chairman Twaha Mbarak, and former international Ricky Solomon who chairs Bandari’s technical Committee among other board members saw Farida Kwekwe formerly of Uweza Fc, Euphrasier Shilwatso former Barcelona and Kenya Police queens goalkeeper and Valentine Kwaka also unveiled to beef up the Bandari Queens football club who are determined to dominate the National Super league and climb the ladder to the premier league next season.

“We have looked at departments in the team which needed fixing like the striking and defence for Bandari Fc and goalkeeping and midfield for Bandari queen’s and hope the new faces will give the much needed boost to the team”,Kibwana said.
Speaking to the press immediately after he was unveiled, star stirker Makwata who is returning from Tanzania Coast Union said he wanted to bring his experience to help Bandari Fc battle for top honours after several years of trying .
“Having played for Kenya’s top league clubs like AFC Leopards and Kenya Police,I have enough experience in the Kenya league and will want to hit the ground running as we race against time to stake claim on the league title is still up for grabs and well within our reach “,Makwata who has also played for local side Kariobangi Sharks said.
Center Back Dennis Ng’ang’a, formerly of Gor Mahia before relocating to Zana fc of Zambia said he is returning more energised and ready to propel Bandari to greater heights.
